featuring Euphorie Studios Wedding Gown, Coco*
One Sunday in October (the kind of fresh spring morning that is still a little cool, the earth is damp and the deep, dark woods eerily beckon), I gathered a few of my most trusted and brave Brisbane wedding suppliers and we entered the deep dark woods... Friday 13th was on our minds and a creepy styled shoot was calling us… with a glam edge (of course).
The Dress: Our glorious black Euphorie Studios Wedding Gown, Coco* was my centrepiece. This striking dress is a full skirt gown with a bodice that extends into two very long straps, easily tied in multiple ways. The flowing skirt has layers of black and blush silk organza and tulle, and is perfectly complemented by the delicate bodice featuring hand beaded gems.
The Veil: Hand crafted in black tulle, custom made especially for this shoot by Jasmine Jones New York.
The Hair & Make Up: Adelaide’s Make Up created a haunting look, encapsulating the gothic theme.
The Flowers: We added a supremely unusual, dry and simply magnificent bouquet of dead and alive flowers by our friend Zoe at Flowers Scent With Love.
The Zebra: When you need to add a quirky element to a creepy shoot, what else would it be? The beautiful Branka at WOW Weddings knew just what we needed.
The Images: Perfectly and artfully captured by the gorgeous Terri Hanlon Photography
Published: This shoot captured the attention of To The Aisle Australia, read their publication here.
Would you wear a stunning black dress on your wedding day?? With elements like these, I certainly would!
